Our load banks are designed to provide a stable and controllable load for determining the performance characteristics of AC generators. A load bank verifies the rated power of a generator set; it verifies if the engine is properly sized of has the sufficient mechanical power (kWm) to the drive the alternator at full load; it checks the efficiency of the cooling system; it detects problems of the generator; it decarbonizes engine and prevents wet stacking of diesel engine in generators operating on light load.
Designed for durability and convenience with its heavy duty casters for mobility during generator load testing. Uses low heat emitting resistive elements to minimize heat conduction. Metal sheathed elements with cooling fins made from high grade nickel resistance wire in U-type form. Built in heavy duty industrial fan blowers as cooling system of the unit. These blowers can be powered internally by the dummy load itself or by external power supply.

Load Bank Technical Specifications
1. Resistive type of load, Power Factor (PF) = 1.0. Stainless steel-sheathed elements crafted from high-grade magnesium oxide.
2. Rated testing voltage: AC 3P4W, 110-480V, 50/60 Hz.
3. Cooling mode: Forced air-cooled, fans mounted on the side of the load bank blow horizontally. Testing power or external utility power supply for fans.
4. Working mode: Load step control. The total testing capacity ranges from 0 kW to the maximum, comprising 10 kW, 20 kW, 50 kW, 100 kW load setting switches, and a 0-10 kW fine-tuning knob. Any load combination from 0 kW to the maximum is attainable. Load step resolution is 10 kW.
5. Load bank features world-renowned components to ensure reliable performance.
6. Parameter measuring accuracy grade: 0.5.
7. Load control accuracy: ±3%.
8. Load bank protections: Overheating protection, cooling fans failure protection, and overload protection with an alarm.
9. Control mode: Two control modes are available:
A) Local manual control;
B) Optional: Manual control via a remote control panel (maximum control distance is 20 m).
10. Parameter display and measurement: Equipped with a professional generator tester model 8961F1, it displays and measures all sorts of steady, dynamic parameters, as well as harmonic waves, and can be connected to a PC for data recording and test report printing.
11. Operating environment: Altitude: ≤1000 m above sea level. Ambient temperature: -10℃ to +40℃. Relative humidity: ≤80% in a ventilated environment without explosive or corrosive dust. Use in rainy outdoor environments is not permitted.”
